In this post I am going to share some very useful resources for web designers and developers. This includes Snipplr, UserCake, MockFlow, JQuery Max Image, Ecsstender and Bestwebframeworks etc.
I hope these resources would be very helpful to all web design and development community.
SNIPPLR
Snipplr is a public source code repository that gives you a place to store and organize all the little pieces of code that you use each day. Best of all, it lets you share your code snippets with other coders and designers.
UserCake
UserCake is a simple user management system developed in PHP. For sometime now people have asked me where can I find a simple, flexible and most of all customisable user management system. I never seem to have an appropriate answer to hand.
MockFlow
Create and collaborate (in real-time) interactive UI mockups for your software and websites.
Uses
jQuery maxImage plugin
This plugin will resize and scale targeted images to their max width according to the image ratio, the browser size and some simple options. Change the size of your browser to see it's effect.
ecsstender
Take control of your CSS Say goodbye to the browser-specific properties and hacks cluttering your files and say hello to lean, mean CSS. With eCSStender, when you write the rules, browsers pay attention.
Extensions built with eCSStender greatly simplify the design process because you can author modern CSS using advanced selectors, properties such as border-radius, or custom font faces and rest assured that your design will work... even in IE6.
SlickPlan
SlickPlan is a web-based sitemap/flowchart generator that allows for the creation of free sitemap and flowchart design. SlickPlan was handcrafted with PHP/MySQL and jQuery by the Dayton website design team at Atomic Interactive.
Bestwebframeworks
Bestwebframeworks is a online tool which lets you to find and review different frameworks for PHP, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby Frameworks. Descriptive icons allows you to compare features with a glance. Each framework offers a description with a possibility to add a review or download the framework.
CSScaffold
CSScaffold is a CSS framework written in PHP. Rather than try and create a static framework that uses the standard abilities of CSS, like Blueprint, it uses PHP to extend CSS. The syntax looks and feels exactly like CSS, except that you have some new, powerful abilities.
TWIG
The flexible, fast, and secure template language for PHP. Twig compiles templates down to plain optimized PHP code. The overhead compared to regular PHP code was reduced to the very minimum.
Ident Engine
Ident Engine discovers and retrieves distributed identities and user-generated content to help you build a little magic into your user interfaces.
